We leave Sunday morning. This trip is adults only. That's right we are leaving the kids behind! In the capable hands of family and our babysitter. I have been spending the last 3 days getting the house ready for our absence, creating a binder for those watching the kids, and doing laundry. I also squeezed in a trip to the pool, shopping, a manicure, and a family outing to the zoo.
I am getting a little anxious about leaving Caleb and Elizabeth for so long. I know they will be crying for mommy and daddy by the end of the 12 days. But they will have a blast getting to spend lots of time with my dad, Uncle Luke, my mom, Morgan the sitter, Aunt Kate and cousin Abby. No one has them for more than a few days in a row, so there will be fresh faces and ideas of things to do. It will be interesting to here about their adventures.
One more day to get everything ready and I have not even started packing yet! That is pretty normal for me though. I do my best at the last minute. Or so I have convinced myself.
