Rainy day= yummy treats from the kitchen.

I've been neglecting this blog for too long! It has been a busy start of fall with Blake coaching football and what not. Fall is probably my favorite time of year, so I hope to capture some great photos of the kids and share our fall time fun.

Wooden spoon, just like my mom used.  :)

Some of our yummy cookies.
The cooler fall weather always makes me want to make yummy things and last week we had a perfect rainy day to make some cookies. And like with anything I do, I had my helper Caleb at my side. I will always cherish the memories I have of baking with my own mom, so I hope to pass that on to my kids. Nothing better than making a little mess, learning how to measure and stir and then enjoy the end results. Warm melted chocolate goodness! And of course a big glass of ice cold milk.

Caleb and Elizabeth both enjoyed their homemade cookies!

Who can resist this cuteness?!
Mr Funny man.  Can't give Mommy a smile, just a sill face!

Hey Lauren, I saw your comment on Sarah's blog that I might have detergent build up on my diapers. I had heard from someone about this and they had just told me to wash the diapers several times with no detergent. This made no difference at all. How do I strip the diapers with Dawn? The "rash" looks like severly dry skin and it's only around her belly (at the top of the diaper) and then around the leg holes of the diaper. We had never had any issue with leaking until about a month ago, and now she seems to pee through at least two times a day. Any advice would be appreciated!! There's a contact button on my blog if you want to just email me.

Thanks, and your little ones are absolutely adorable!
