Really, 9 months old?

Elizabeth turned 9 months old on May 26th. We have been a busy family so I am finally getting around to blogging about our growing girl.

These days it is all about eating. Elizabeth is trying to get her chubby little fingers on whatever food we are eating. It is so funny to watch her stretch and try to reach for things on my plate. She definitely prefers table food over her pureed baby foods. Some favorites include watermelon, pears, macaroni and black beans. She has quite the palette and I love that she is not picky!

Elizabeth is finally showing signs of crawling.  Just last week, she pulled up on all four like she might attempt to crawl.  But rolling still proves to be the quickest mode of transportation!  Caleb thinks its hilarious the way she flops over and over like a fish out of water. I figure its only a matter of time before she takes off.  Still waiting for her to pull herself up on the furniture too.  It is nice to have one immoble child though so I am no hurry for her to move too much.

Despite her love of food, Elizabeth is only in the 25% for weight at 17.5 lbs.  But the doctor says she is just perfect.  Of course, I already knew that!  :)
