A family date, Mommy/Daddy date, graduation and Mother's Day all in one weekend!

I was lucky enough to have the whole weekend off to spend with Blake and our family.  We had lots of fun over our jam-packed weekend.
Saturday we went to Glenwood Gardens to see the "Big Bugs." A local artist created giant bugs from wood and other natural elements. We though Caleb would enjoy it. Plus, the park is full of gardens. Caleb liked the bugs, but was in a bad mood so we didn't stay as long as I would have liked. We did buy a yearly pass so we can go back.

Blake arranged for RuthAnne to watch the kids overnight Saturday so we could have a date night. Blake made reservations at a Holiday Inn. We ate dinner out, saw a movie and relaxed in our hotel room's jacuzzi. A little extravagant for a date night, but it was a nice little get away. We woke up early the next morning to head to Oxford for Kate's graduation! It was great to see the culmination of all of Kate's hard work. It took her a little longer since she became a mommy and wife during her college career, but she excelled at all her roles!

Instead of a mother's day dinner, we met the rest of my family at the Macaroni Grill for dinner to celebrate Kate, Brett and Jared's graduations.  Jared graduated from Kent Saturday.  It was a yummy dinner and we all enjoyed each other's company.  I am so thankful for my wonderful family, quirks and all.
