Easter Weekend

Easter weekend brought beautiful weather and lots of family fun. We decided to go to church Saturday evening to make our busy Sunday less stressful. The music was awesome during the service and I left feeling thankful and full of joy. It worked out well and Caleb left his class talking about Jesus. Then we had Blake's Dad and Ruth Ann, Luke, Danielle and Connor over totheir Easter baskets from Grandpa and Nana Cripe. They had even more fun coloring eggs. I was afraid it might be a little hard for a 2 year old, but Caleb did great. There was only one casualty and the blue dye washed off eventually!

Sunday we were able to relax a little. We hid Caleb's basket in his kitchen which made him upset when he couldn't find it right away. He promptly put his boots on and wanted candy for breakfast!

We got ready and got on the road for Troy. Blake's cousin Keri hosted Easter lunch and the kids had fun playing outside and hunting for eggs. Caleb got another basket of goodies from Mimi and Papa Greg. He even got a package of big boy undies! They are so cute and tiny. Caleb impressed me by using the big potty at Keri's house.
Then we headed down to my Aunt Sue's house for my family's Easter dinner. The day continued to be full of sunshine and blue skies. I will say that I enjoyed seconds at both meals! I have quite the appetite these days. Caleb and Abby hunted for eggs outside and even traded some of their goodies with each other. The holidays can be a lot for a two year old, but Caleb was pretty enjoyable. Hard to imagine doing it all next year with two little ones!
