We are so blessed to have great friends and family to spend time with. We have really had fun grilling and hanging out this summer. Caleb is so fun and loves to interact with everyone.
A week ago Wednesday, my Bible study was cancelled. We had already asked Kate to watch Caleb so she came down with Abby anyway. Blake and I pounced on the opportunity to make a date night of it! We went out to eat at Beni Hana's with our friends Chad and Kristin. It was so yummy! We had never been there and really enjoyed ourselves despite having a lame chef!
We spent the rest of the evening play Cranium. Caleb loved playing with Abby. Kate captured some great pics of them.
Friday, Kate and I went to Dayton Mall. We let the kids play in the indoor playground area. It was crowded, but they still had fun running around and climbing. We got Auntie Ann's and enjoyed every bite. Gotta love coupons! I browsed kids shoes to get some ideas for fall shoes for Caleb. He is close to outgrowing his sandals. We also went to see the puppies at the petstore. Caleb loved to wave and say hi to all the puppies. So cute!
Friday night Doug, Katie and Sarah came over for dinner. The guys went outside to grill cheeseburgers only to discover the grill was out of gas. It was already late and we were all hungry so they cooked them on the stove. It all tasted good! Caleb liked to look at Sarah and take her toys! She is so cute and I cannot believe she is almost 6 months old! After putting the babies to bed, we played Spades until 1 am! Gearing up for our Gatlinburg trip I suppose.
Tuesday Caleb and I met Megan and Julia at Smith Park. It was a nice day since it was not too hot. We walked the path and then found a spot under big trees to sit. Caleb was quite the outdoorsman exploring all around. He found sticks, leaves, rocks and even some bugs! This was Caleb's first time meeting Julia. He seemed concerned when she cried for a bottle. He did get close and pat her head. He called her baby and we are working on saying her name. Caleb is going to have so man
y friends to grow up with! It is going to be so neat to watch all of these beautiful babies grow into little people!

We spent the evening at my parent's house. Kate and Abby were there. They played so hard and ran around like little monkeys! My dad brought home pizza. MMmm good. We talked and caught up since it had been awhile since I had seen them.
Caleb meeting Julia for the first time. So sweet.
