Wonderful Wednesday.

I love Wednesdays. For one, I am always off. Of course, I do almost always work the night before, but I know that when I leave I am going to have the day to play with Caleb or do anything else.

Thank God the sun is out and it is a little warmer! I love the sunshine even if it is cold. It really does brighten my mood and lift my spirits to have rays of sunlight coming in my windows.
Last night was a calmer night at work. I was more relaxed and could actually enjoy the time spent with my patients. Still busy, but that does make the time go by fast!

After Caleb and I napped, we ventured to Kroger to do the weekly grocery shopping and get items for his birthday party. I was pleasantly surprised at how well Caleb was at the store. We actually made it through my whole (very long) list without a meltdown. I had anticipated having to go back out tomorrow morning to finish. But he just sat in the cart and played with his Elmo book and my wallet. Hallelujah! I am excited to make his farm cake and get the house all ready. Blake will probably do most of the cake construction as he has decided to make a barn and a silo to go on the actual cake! He really is a good artist and I know he enjoys creating things out of nothing.

I am getting hungry and Caleb is telling me he is done with "quiet time" so off I go.
