I started December with a shopping trip with my friend Megan. Caleb was going to tag along, but he was teething and refused to take a nap. Lucky for me, Blake was able to come home early and stay with him. It was nice to actually get some Christmas shopping done and spend time with my good friend. We were able to take our time and gab about Meg's news! She is preggo! So exciting!
December 6th we went to a tree farm to pick out our Christmas tree. Blake has been sweet to do this with me the last couple years. I had to convince him it could be fun! It was snowing and pretty cold when we went and that added to the nostalgia. We bundled Caleb up and he got to help pick out the tree! We went home and decorated it. Later that night, Andrea, Nate, Kristin and Chad came over to watch Chevy Chase's Christmas Vacation. Classic.
Sunday we went to church and Caleb survived another week in the nursery! I love being able to sit through the sermon and actually relax enough to pay attention. Of course, I do keep an eye out for "the number." You don't want yours to come up!!
