The second week of December 2008

December is always jam packed with fun times. As busy as it always is, I love the extra time spent with friends and family. The second weekend was cookie baking time! We had all my siblings and their othe halves over. Kate, Brett and Abby, Megan and Clint, and Jared. Caleb got to visit for a little bit and eat some pizza, but retired to his crib before we got to making cookies. I didn't make the homemade dough this year, but we did roll out some Pilsbury dough and donned the aprons. It was fun and made a big mess in my kitchen. Blake has made sure I get to decorate cookies with my siblings every year. He knows how much it means to me.

Jared spent the night at my house and we went to church together while Blake worked on Luke's condo. My dad volunteered to watch Caleb after church so I could go to Katie Cook's baby shower! She is due almost exactly one year after I was. It is amazing to think one year ago I was having my baby shower and counting down the days til Caleb's birth. I still can't get over how fast time goes by.

Katie's shower was fun and it was nice to see old faces. I was even on the winning team for pictionary! Baby Sarah is going to have such a great wardrobe! All the pretty in pink clothes.
