I am my mother's daughter and have become addicted to hunting for great deals. And like my mom, I love shopping at my local thrift stores. I cannot get over the perfect-condition clothing I have found for the kids and even myself. It is even more fun hunting for cute little dresses and girly things for Elizabeth. Caleb has quite the wardrobe of shirts with his favorite things on them. Dinosaurs, cars, trucks and animals adorn many of his shirts. The best thing is most cost between $0.49 and $1.99. Thats right, I am able to buy pieces of clothing for less than 50 cents!
Some adorable dresses for Elizabeth that I found.
Just a few of my thrift store finds.
Thrift store shopping is a great way to acquire brands of clothes I would never pay retail for like Gap, Gymboree, and the Children's Place. Especially when babies and kids grow so fast. I don't feel bad if Elizabeth only wears an outfit one time when I spent $1.99 on it. Or if she pukes down the front and ruins a white shirt. Not too mention all of the shirts Caleb has ruined due to his artwork or worm digging! :)
