You might ask who is "Uncle Taco?" That would be Caleb and Elizabeth's goofy Uncle Clarke, Blake's youngest brother. Clarke was able to come home for Grandpa Cripe's funeral this week so he has been staying with us. Caleb has formed a unique and silly reltaionship with his uncle during all the time that we have housed Clarke during his leave from the Navy. The two are so silly together and are always making each other laugh. Today Caleb told Clarke, "You can be my best friend, if you want to. My dad said I can have more best friends." So sweet.
Elizabeth has enjoyed the attention from Uncle Clarke as well. She has impressed him with her ability to sit up and her strong grasp. She likes to grab noses these days! He has been smitten by her precious smile and surprised me by not being afraid to hold her.
