Fall Happenings....life has gotten busy!

Hard to believe that November is almost half way through!  We have a been a busy family.  Blake finished up coaching 7/8th grade football.  Not a great season, but the varsity coach really likes him and has asked him to be a high school coach next year.  Exciting for Blake.  I have been back at work for a few weeks now.  The first night I felt like a fish out of water, but it has been smooth since then.  We are searching for a new nanny though.  The one we hired has proved to not be reliable and essentially quit without leaving any notice!  Fortunately, the timing has worked out that my sister Megan can cover us for the rest of the month in hopes that we will have someone lined up to start in December.  Thank goodness for family!  Due to being rearended on the highway, Blake's car was totaled and we were forced to buy something new.  I(we are) am now the proud owner of a 2008 Chrystler Town & Country minivan!  While I feel a little young to drive a minivan, this thing is pretty awesome.  Lots of cool features that will take me forever to learn how to use!

Caleb is slowly adjusting to Mommy being back at work.  He hates it when I leave and has cried all but one evening.  Breaks my heart, but I know within a few minutes he is happy and playing.  Caleb has been doing great with potty training.  I am still afraid to put him in underwear at night.  Some naps he stays dry and others we are washing bedding.  I keep telling myself he is still little.  Caleb is really getting into coloring and drawing shapes.  He spends a lot of time with crayons and markers these days.  We decorated lots of paper pumpkins and cats for Halloween.

Elizabeth is now over 2 months old!  She is healthy and growing like a weed.  I packed away her newborn clothes at 5 weeks and she is busting out of some of her 3 month stuff.  She weighed 12lbs 1 oz and measured 23.5 inches at her 2 month well check.  She is in the 75th%!  Crazy to me because Caleb was in the 10th% at this age.  Elizabeth is smiling and cooing.  Caleb is learning how to make her smile by talking to her and showing his big grin.  It is so enjoyable to watch them interact.  Of course, Caleb experiments with how tightly he can hold Elizabeth's hand.  He has figured out that if you squeeze tight enough she will scream!
