Fall weekend fun!

The past two weekends have been spent enjoying the outdoors and the colors of fall.  We went up to Troy to go to a fall festival with Blake's mom, Judy.  We also met up with Aunt Barb, Uncle Jim and their grandkids Mia and Biagio.  Caleb loved the tractors and hayride.  It was actually hot out, but we still had fun petting farm animals, listening to country music, and checking out some cool scarecrows.

The following weekend we went to Young's Dairy Farm in Yellow Springs with my parents and sister Kate.  It was about an hour and 15 minute drive and I can't believe in mhy 26 years I had never been there before!  It is a working dairy farm with a restaurant and dairy bar.  Yes, they make their own ice cream right there!!!  Can you say delish?!  We got there early enough to avoid the crowds.  Caleb loved the kid's ride and the jump house.  We went through the barn to see some farm animals and enjoyed a yummy lunch followed by the ice cream.  Then we got lost in the corn maze.  The weather was perfect.  Not too warm, but a blue sky and lots of sun.  Fall at its best.  Days like that fill my heart with thanks and gratitude for all that I have. My family, friends, a good job, a house to come home to, and the perfect love of my Jesus.  Thank you God for all you have blessed me with.  Continue to show me how to bless others in a way that pleases and honors you.
