Weekend review!

So, we had a fun long weekend. Friday I went to hang out with Megan. She showed me all of the new baby items for Julia. Then we went to Carter's so she could exchange some things. We walked around and people watched while eating some ice cream. It was fun to catch up and have some girl time. That evening, we went to visit Doug and Katie. We grilled out and played cornhole. Caleb was very interested in Sarah and wanted to touch her. It was pretty cute. After the babies went to bed (Caleb slept in a pack-n-play), we played Wii fit.
We all slept in Saturday. It was so nice to have a 3 day weekend to spend with my family far away from work! Blake worked on some homework while I did laundry and played with Caleb. The two of us walked the dog. There was so much garbage all over from a festival that was gong on. I know it is a little gross, but I couldn't help but pick up a bag full of pop cans and bottles. I just can't stand the laziness and carelessness of some people! Anyway, while Caleb napped we packed up the car to head to Georgetown. We spent the rest of the weekend with Drew, Ashley and Brayden. We took walks, played in the baby pool, and grilled out on Saturday. Sunday we hung out and ate lunch at Cici's. We got to swim at Ashley's uncle's house. It was fun and surprisingly not that cold! Caleb and Brayden actually played together and were so cute to watch. Thankfully, Caleb was adaptable and slept well at naptime and bedtime. We stayed up late Saturday playing a new card game called Rook. I am happy to say that Ashley and I kicked the guys butts! It was a lot of fun and we will have rematches on vacation! We left Monday morning and got stuck in Reading traffic due to the Memorial Day Parade. Caleb and I walked home and got to watch the cars and firetrucks go by. He like that. It was a really fun weekend and we are so lucky to have such good friends.
