Week in review.

I came home Monday to find Blake still at home. He had gone to student teach, but came home sick. He is a bit of a baby when he doesn't feel well. But what men aren't? He took the laptop and retreated to our room to work on school stuff and sleep. Caleb and I played until I could not stay awake any longer. Then we both napped. Thank goodness for my star napper!
Wenesday I was able to meet Kate for lunch. Just the 2 of us! This never happens anymore now that we both have kids. We met at Fridays. Then we went across the street to do some shopping/ browsing. We had fun trying on some cute dresses at TJ Maxx. Kate actually bought one along with a shirt and rug. I left with a decorative plate. It was nice to be able to talk and not be interrupted by little voices and to try clothes on without having to entertain Caleb or Abby. The weather was great too. Sunny and warm. I didn't care one bit that I had to go into work that evening.
