Weekend in reivew.

We had a lovely weekend. Friday was another nice weather day. Caleb had his 15 month check up in the morning. All was well. I will make a separate post for that. Then Caleb and I did some shopping at Babies'R'Us for baby Julia. I love buying baby girls items! So cute and pretty. We picked a few more items of her registry to add to the things I had already bought. It is easy to get carried away when buying for a great friend and a new baby!

Then Caleb and I went home to meet Abby and Kate. We ate some lunch and then packed the kids up in my car to head to Sharon Woods. We walked the whole trail and then let the kids play on the playground. Man, I am out of shape. That walk had me sore for all of Saturday! It was good to finally get to the park and to hang out with my sister. The kids had fun and it was a great way to enjoy the weather.

Drew, Ashley and Brayden stopped by for dinner and visited a little bit. Blake cooked a new recipe for us. A knock off version of PF Chang's mongolian beef and chicken. It was really yummy. I could eat it once a week! Caleb and Brayden sat at the table with us and made a mess of their dinners! Then they played before they had to leave. Caleb took a bath and was off to bed. He went the whole day with only an hour nap! He was a great little boy though.

Saturday Blake went fishing with Luke and his dad for the day. Caleb and I played, did laundry and I did some cleaning. I worked Saturday night. Then Sunday was Megan's baby shower. I was able to take a nap before heading up. The shower was really nice and it was great to see Megan, Trisha, Joetta, Piper and Brie. And I met some of Megan's work friends. I stayed a little longer and checked out all of Julia's cute stuff. Meg and I even got a chance to share some info on cloth diapers with the other ladies. They all seemed surprised and interested in the cuteness of the diapers. After the shower, I took another nap and had to head back to work at 11pm. Despite working, it was a great work. What a difference a little sunshines, a warm breeze and great friends makes!!!
