The weekend..

Friday, my brother and his "friend" Anthony came in town for a visit. They are going to Florida for spring break and Jared wanted to visit the fam since he wouldn't be coming home. Caleb and I headed up to hang out at my parent's house. Kate and Abby were there. This was the first time I had seen Abby since the dog attack. My heart melted for her poor little face. It actually looked very good, but still hurt to see her with the red marks, swelling, and bruises. Thankfully, she has no recollection of the incident and is her usual bubbly little self. I love listening to her sweet voice and all the comical things she has to say! I cannot imagine the cute conversations she and Caleb will be having soon.
Anyway, we ate a casserole that I made and some pizza. We really just sat around and talked/ watched the kiddies play. Blake had track practice after school and then was studying for a praxis test with a friend. So, we left my parents and headed for home around 10.
Saturday, Blake went to take his test while Caleb and I played at home. I made a potato casserole to take to my parents house. Caleb decided not to take a nap. He has been teething and I think his mouth was bothering him. Once Blake got home we headed to my parent's for an early dinner. My Granny and Grandpa came over to see Jared so I wanted to see them too. Mega, Kate, and Abby all came too. We all ate and visited. My dad grilled hamburgers. Yum!
We had to leave early so I could go to work. I hate working weekends!
Sunday, I slept while Blake spent the day with Caleb. They went to visit Luke and Caleb was a very good boy! He played and took a 2 hour nap at his uncle's house. I did get to enjoy a little of the sunshine. Blake took Caleb's climbing slide toy outside so we played for a little while Blake and Luke grilled chicken. Then I had to go back to work!!!
