Another week has flown by! I was off Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. We stayed home Monday and Tuesday. I did laundry, cleaned and chased Caleb around the house. Actually, we did run to the mall because I had to pick up my rings. So we did walk around. Caleb has decided riding in the stroller can be fun. I think he was just overwhelmed by the lights and people to watch. Wednesday it was warm out so we loaded up Caleb's wagon with the recycleables and walked to the bins. The bins are about a mile from our house. I feel like supermom when I walk there with the dog and Caleb in his wagon. There is something magical about being outside. Caleb loves it! I am so ready for it to warm up so we can go to the park.
Our church just started a new 6 week series called Reset. It is to help you reset your thinking and assumptions about Jesus and how he wants us to live. I found a small group that meets in our town. In fact, the host lives on our street! Blake stayed home with Caleb so I could go. It was good to be around other Christians and to meet a neighbor. I was the youngest adult there, but that doesn't bother me any.
Thursday and Friday nights I worked. Dave watched Caleb on Friday. Blake installed a garbage disposal while I was at work Friday night because the sink got clogged up. Yuck! I know I will forget to use it. Saturday, Blake went to watch Luke's wrestling team compete. So, Caleb and I went up to hang out with Kate and Abby. The kids played and Kate and I tried to talk. It can be so hard to communicate while playing with the kids and watching them. Megan came over a little later and tried taking pictures of Abby and Caleb with her fancy cameras. Abby was a typical 2 year old and didn't want to cooperate. Kate got pizza for dinner and we scarfed it down. Caleb was pretty good considering we stayed there past 6pm and his bedtime.
Sunday, I found Caleb with puke in his hair and all over his crib. The smell was horrible! I took him straight to the bathtub and had to wash his hair twice to get the stink out. I felt so bad because I never even heard him wake up. I am thinking he got sick and must have fallen back to sleep. Blake stayed home with Caleb while I went to church. Caleb ate fine, but did act extra tired. He took 2 good naps. No more puking. Later in the afternoon, Luke, Danielle, and Connor came over. Caleb got to see both of his cousins this weekend! Connor and Caleb played on the slide almost the whole time! They get along really well. Connor is used to being around kids from daycare so he is pretty good at sharing and taking turns. The guys fixed us pancakes, fruit and bacon for dinner. It was really yummy. After we were done eating, Caleb was sitting in his highchair making his poop face. He let out a very loud fart and well.. we all knew it was going to be a messy diaper. It was the first non-ploppable poo in a cloth diaper. It was pretty bad. Thankfully, I was able to rinse it out in my utility sink in the basement. I haven't washed the diaper yet to see if it will really come clean! It was good to hang out with Luke and Danielle as we don't get to see them enough. It makes me excited for their wedding next summer.

2. poor baby Caleb who got sick in his crib!
3. so glad you all found a small group- wish you were closer here so we could go together though
4. I can't wait for warm weather either. I am way impressed you took dog and baby for a walk...I try and Wiggles drags us both.
It is the reward for working 3 twelve hour night shifts. I am usually pretty tired the first day off, but that is the price I pay!
Poor Caleb, I hope that he is feeling better!
