It has been a little while since I last posted anything! I had a busy week with an extra day of training at work. Let's see what is new?Our good friends became parents on Tuesday. Sarah Louise Cook was born on Feb. 10th. We were able to go see her once they got home from the hospital. She is adorable. She seemed so tiny compared to Caleb. It took me back to when he was a newborn. Awww. I miss my little baby!
I took Caleb to have his 12 month pictures taken. We went to Portrait Innovations in West Chester. They turned out very good and Caleb was a star. I spent too much money on pictures, but it really was a good deal! Plenty to give away to our friends and family. Plus, no waiting. I left with all the pictures.
We had a pretty nice Valentine's Day. I came home from work and napped while Blake installed a new kitchen faucet. He hooked up the old one in the basement for the utility tub. So nice to have a faucet down there for rinsing cloth diapers! I am lucky that Blake is so handy! He also did the grocery shopping! Loved not having to do it. He also surprised me with some flowers and chocolate turtles. I felt bad because I just got him a card since we usually don't do gifts. Blake grilled some steak for dinner. It was really good. We watched a movie once Caleb went to bed and ate a yummy pastry dessert with berries, ice cream, cool whip and chocolate sauce. MMMMmmmm. It was Blake's version of The Puff from Grand Finale.
Sunday, we went to church and Caleb did OK in the nursery. He was being held when we got him, but they didn't have to post our #. After church, I made some cheesy chicken chili. We stopped by my grandpa's to drop off pictures. He showed us his Wii and we played for a little bit. Caleb showed off his walking skills. Great-Grandpa was impressed.
Then we headed to Katie and Doug's house to hang out. We ate chili, played Wii and I got to hold little Sarah. They are doing well and settling into their new roles as mommy and daddy.
