It's Sunday evening already!

My days are all mixed up. I was sick and miserable on Wednesday and all day Thursday. I woke up and my whole body ached, fever of 102 and had a headache. I was worried about how I could chase after a wild one year old that doesn't sit still for long. Thank goodness he played by himself for 30 minutes after breakfast so I laid on the couch and watched him. I called my mom after I put Caleb down for a nap. She so kindly offered to come pick him up and keep him overnight. She had my neice too! It didn't take too much to give in. She ended up keeping Caleb until Saturday morning! Blake came home from student teaching early Friday because of a migraine. We were bums all day.
We met my parents at Jungle Jims on Saturday morning. My dad's dentist is right there and he had an appt. Blake, my mom, Caleb and I went in the Petland to walk around. Caleb loved waving at all of the animals. He acted ready for the aquarium. My mom said Caleb was great for them. But he has since turned into a teething monster. His nose is running and he is constantly whining. I don't know why it takes his teeth so long to come in. Thank goodness for 2 good naps!
Saturday evening, we made dinner and brought it over to our friend's house, Katie and Doug. They are expecting their first baby, Sarah, any day now! Poor Katie is so ready. I am so glad I did not have any swelling at the end and that Caleb came a little early. I really can't think of any part of my pregnancy that I didn't really like. Of course, I was uncomfortable and couldn't sleep too well, but overall I loved every minute!

Today, we went to church. Or at least tried to go. Caleb's nose was and still is running so he couldn't go in the nursery like usual. We went to the baby theatre instead of the auditorium. ( It is a room with seats and a big screen. There is carpet that babies can crawl/play on.) Caleb was fine during worship, but once the message started he was done. Blake can't stand when he gets whiney and cries so we packed our bags and left. There was another couple and their baby in the room so I guess we would have disturbed them if we stayed. I was a little bothered by Blake's lack of patience though. I can only go to church on my weekends off so it is a big deal to me to miss. So, hopefully next week is much better!
On a good note, we did get to try out Caleb's birthday wagon outside today. Thank you God for the sunshine! I so needed to get out of the house and in some fresh air. We walked around the neighborhood and Caleb was as happy as a lark holding onto the sides of his red wagon. Lily enjoyed her second walk of the weekend too. Makes me anxious for spring even more!
I am ready to get a snack and drink my Dr Pepper now!

I am so sorry you all were sick! Thank God for grandparents!

I get you on the teething! It is so hard, and Brayden experiences the same thing with the runny nose and drooling and then his face chaps and he loses sleep in the night. Fun times.

And oh do I ever understand you on church. Yesterday I didn't even make it out of the nursery before he started screaming...I can't tell you the last time I got to sit in service. And then we have to leave early for a nap. Maybe we should start our own church?!? :)
ANd I LOVE the warm weather- I think it is so good for the babies to get out in!
