March 2008

March was a busy month. We had a blizzard and Caleb was able to see his first big snow. He was only 6 weeks old so he couldn't really experience it yet! :) We celebrated my 24th birthday. Around 7 weeks old, Caleb started to sleep for 5 hours at night! Blake and I were very excited to get more sleep and happy to have such a good little sleeper.

Caleb finally got to meet his Uncle Jared. It was so sweet to see Jared hold Caleb and it was good to see him while he was home on spring break. We celebrated Easter with both of our families and Caleb received hiw first Easter basket and gifts from his grandparents. We went to Judy's church in Piqua and Caleb met some more of our extended family. He also met Judy's best friend Brenda who came to visit from Kansas. She has known Blake since he was born so it was neat for her to see grown up Blake and his family.

At Caleb's 2 month check up, he weighed in at 10lb 15 oz. He sure was growing. At this age his favorite thing to do was to sit in his bouncy seat. He loved the animals that hang on it and the vibration. He also likes to ride in the carrier that I would wear. This worked great for grocery shopping and getting things done around the house.
