39 weeks!

Today makes 39 weeks of this pregnancy. I am so thankful for another healthy and "easy" pregnancy. I really have been blessed and love being pregnant. I was hoping we would meet Elizabeth this past weekend. Mostly so I would not have to work and so Blake would not have to miss any of his first week of work. But here I am having survived the weekend and hoping to make it through a few more days!

I had a doctor's appt this morning and everything looks good. I have made some progress and am now 3 cm dilated. I am having stronger and even timeable contractions at times, but nothing that has lead to real labor yet. We have been taking lots of walks and I looking forward to enjoying the nice weather we are supposed to have this week. I might venture and take Caleb to the zoo one last time by himself. Caleb is ready to meet his little sister too. He keeps bringing her toys to my belly and telling her all about them. Blake even came home with some cute little outfits that he and Caleb found on a clearance rack at Kohls. So funny to see him carrying little pink things! I can't wait to see Blake hold his daughter.
We watched home videos from Caleb's birth and first year. Oh my goodness! It brought back so many memories. It still boggles my mind how you carry this baby for 9+ months and in one moment they are here. Such an amazing miracle. I am so thankful God has allowed me to experience this all again.
