Wedding Bells and family fun!

Our friends Andrea and Nate got married Saturday and we were lucky to celebrate with them. Kate and Abby came over to watch Caleb. (My parents were having a yard sale so they were busy.) Our other friend Kristin rode along with us. The wedding was up near Columbus. Nate's dad performed the ceremony at his Lutheran church. It was very sweet and his sermon was touching. He gave good advice to the new couple as well as to those married for a long time.

Andrea looked stunning and Nate cleaned up pretty well himself.

The reception site was a beautiful barn in the country. It was so nice and the weather was great for August. The tables were decorated with sticks and very natural accents. I really like it. Blake and I enjoyed dancing and it was a chance to rekindle our own relationship.

Sunday we went to my parent's house for dinner. Grandpa, Granny, Kate, Abby, Brett and Megan were all there too. Dad grilled shish kabobs and there was all kinds of yummy food! It was great to catch up and share what we had all been up to this summer. Being at Mom and Dad's house makes me sad that they will be moving sometime soon. I know it is the people that make our get-togethers special, but the house has so many memories! They have lived there for 15 years.
