Yesterday, June 18th we marked our 4th year of marriage. If you couldn't tell we did not really celebrate it this year. We agreed that with Blake's graduation, vacation and Father's Day that we would just exchange cards this year. I guess we could call our date last Friday an early anniversary outing. It is always so amazing to look back at all that we have been through over our 11 years together. Yes, it has been that long! I will say that this year has been the most challenging and full of a lot of growth for us. Adding a child to your life changes your relationship in so many ways. We have learned a lot about communicating expectations, needs and that neither one of is a mind reader. I have taken Blake for granted at times and have come to truly appreciate his dedication to me, his love for Caleb, and his hardwork to provide for our family. No one knows what the future holds, but "For better, for worse" I am Blake's wife and he is my husband. I am so thankful for the friend, partner, lover, provider, and father that I have to share this journey with.
