A day with Gigi!

Today Caleb and I went to Granny's house (aka Gigi for Great Granny) Caleb did not nap for more than 30 minutes so I was afraid he would be a stinker, but he was great! We played at Gigi's house for a little and then walked to Winton Woods. We really lucked out because originally the forecast called for afternoon showers. It was beautiful outside and very warm! We always get a little lost in her neighborhood going the back way to the park. She has lived there for over 30 years and still gets lost! That is just my Granny for you!

Then we walked the 2 mile path. Caleb waved to other walkers, bikers, dogs and pretty much everything. I actually got a little warm and was sweating! I had to take Caleb's long sleeve shirt off too. We got ice cream at the snack bar and then went over to the playground. Right away another little boy came over and gave Caleb a hug. It was so cute. Caleb didn't seem to mind and then the little boy just ran off to play. Caleb loved climbing all over and going down the slide. It was fun to watch him laugh and smile for Gigi. He is so lucky to have great grandparents and that most of them are healthy and still very active. My Granny is one of the busiest retired ladies I know! She is always volunteering, exercising, entertaining or going on dates! She stays out later than me! By the time we left the park, Caleb was pooped. He relaxed in his stroller, but the stubborn kid would not fall asleep. We are kiesh (sp?) and fruit for dinner. Caleb loves eggs so it was a hit with him. We had brownies and ice cream for dessert. Yum, yum. We played a little more before saying goodnight. Caleb is now in bed despite needing a bath. He was just so tired I hated to keep him up any longer. We can bathe tomorrow, a little dirt never hurt!
