A snowed in wonderful Wednesday.

Winter finally came. I had to work Monday and Tuesday nights, so I was one of the few that had to make the trek into work. Fortunately, my floor was actually staffed and we made it through the shifts. I am lucky to have some experience driving in bad conditions. Thanks to my dad. He is a truck driver and enjoyed teaching me how to hydroplane, drive in a downpour and a snowstorm. I am glad to not be too afraid of facing the elements. It's the other cars I worry about!
Blake was lucky to have Tuesday and today off from student teaching. The perks of being in education are paying off already! He was able to shovel out our cars and sidewalks in addition to playing Mr. Mom. He cooked, cleaned, and cared for Caleb while I napped.
We all bundled up to play in the snow once I woke up. I love when the trees are covered in ice and look like glass. Of course, the sun is what really makes them sparkle and the skies were just gray.
Caleb didn't know what to think of it all. He was dressed in 2 pair of socks, a footed fleece sleeper, snowpants , his coat, mittens and hat. He doesn't have any hard soled shoes right now since he is just learning to walk. I was afraid his little toes would freeze, but we held him most of the time and weren't outside long. I did get a couple cute pics of him all bundled.
Blake already has a 2 hour delay for tomorrow. He is already getting cabin fever so I think he is hoping to get out of the house. I guess he is realizing that taking care of Caleb and the house all day is hard work! Nah, he has always known that, just forgets I think. :) I kinda hope he goes in to so that I can do my own thing. He kinda cramps my routine!
