October was a fun month. I love fall and the weather changes it brings after a hot summer. We visited Barn-N-Bunk the first weekend in October. It was fun to watch Caleb crawl around the pumpkins and use them to pull himself up to stand. He even tried to eat them! It always brings back fond memories of the many years I worked at "the Bunk." We were able to introduce Caleb to some of he Theobalds.
To celebrate my sister Megan's birthday, I went to a Michael Buble concert with her and my mom. We had fun and it was nice to go out and do something different. Poor Jared was stuck up at Kent and we missed him. :(
Blake joined some of the other teachers at Hopewell in their annual teachers vs. 8th grade football game. Caleb and I went to watch and met some of his students. Caleb enjoyed crawling around on the ground and was a hit with the ladies! Several of Blake's students volunteered to babysit if we ever needed. Blake had fun as he misses participating in sports like he used to. I think he is looking forward to the possibility of coaching football next year.
I had to work on Halloween, but we were able to go Trick or treating with Brett, Kate, and Abby in their new neighborhood. It felt really weird to be the parents walking the kids around. It is funny to be on the other end of life now. Caleb dressed up as Tigger and loved wearing his costume. He enjoyed walking around despite not being able to eat any candy! Maybe next year.
